POLICIES IN THE SALON
Here at LUNA Hair & Beauty Salon We aim to offer the highest standard of treatment and customer service, below are our salon policies, please take a read through.

Gift Certificates are available for an amount or treatment/s of your choice. Gift Certificates are valid for a certain period from the date of purchase are non-refundable, under no circumstances will a voucher be extended, however treatments can be exchanged with a treatment of choice.
Offers/ Voucher codes
Occasionally we run salon offers and also offers through promotional companies, these vouchers have an end date which is made clear at time of Purchase. Please take note of this as salon spaces are limited we would like to make you aware vouchers will not be extended past the end date so please get these booked in as soon as you can to secure your day of choice.
We appreciate some un-avoidable events may crop up that could effect your booking however we request where possible that clients provide us with at least 48 hours notice to cancel or re-schedule an appointment to avoid paying a 50% cancellation charge.
A consultation form must be filled out prior to a treatment being given Please inform us of any medical conditions including pregnancy when booking, as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.
Right to refuse
Our salon staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service. This also includes if we think that your service isn't going to benefit you and will be following our professionalism.
Children in the salon
As we are concerned with your and your children’s safety, we strictly prohibit unsupervised children in the salon. In emergency situations, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.
If we think that your child is disturbing other customers and is putting others in danger or itself, we will have to ask you to leave the salon.

We have a no pet allowed policy.
We kindly request that you arrive on time for appointments so that we can ensure that full treatment time is given to you and to prevent inconvenience to other clients and a consultation form will be filled out on first appointment.
No Smoking Policy
The salon operates a strict no smoking policy.
All clients will be given a thorough consultation at their first visit. This information is completely confidential.
Skin Testing Before Hair Colouring
Why is it so important to undergo skin testing before hair colouring?
Skin testing is vitally important prior to having your hair dyed. This is due the potential risks associated with an active ingredient found in most hair dyes, known as ‘PPD’ (paraphenylenediamine).
‘PPD’ has been proven to cause allergic reactions to hypersensitive individuals, causing very uncomfortable symptoms such as blistering of the skin, infection and soft tissue swelling.
We currently accept cash and Card.
FREE parking is available opposite the salon in the Pub. It isn't advised to park outside the salon as is a small area and car might get hit by other cars.
